This symposium brings together a diverse, international group of scholars, artists and activists who share a strong commitment to climate change communication in the Arctic.
The symposium will take place in Safnahúsið, Hverfisgata 15, on Saturday October 19th 2024 between 12:00-14:30. After the schedule ends, participants and guests will be invited to explore the exhibition Viðnám – samspil myndlistar og vísinda (Resistance –interplay of visual arts and science) currently housed in the art gallery.
The symposium is organised by the University of Iceland´s Hornafjörður Research Centre, in collaboration with the National Gallery of Iceland, the Sustainability Institute at the University of Iceland, and the Institute for International Affairs at the University of Iceland.
